Jessica Grewal, M.Ed., BCBA

Hi, I'm Jessica! I completed my Bachelors of Arts with a major in Psychology and Certificate of Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University in 2016 and my Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis with a concentration in Autism from Capilano University in 2018. I completed my Masters of Education in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Development Disabilities from the University of British Columbia in August 2020. I've been certified as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst since 2021, and have been supporting autistic individuals in different contexts and capacities since 2014.

I have a few different roles at First Connections, including providing behaviour consultation, supervisor training, and all things related to staff recruitment and other human resources duties.

When I'm not working, I'm typically at the gym, at a spin class, at a hot yoga class, or on a walk/hike. When I'm not moving my body, I'm typically eating out with my friends or family at my favourite restaurants, or travelling/planning my next travel destination!

What makes me happy is being a part of our student's learning journeys and watching them excel at new tasks/routines, and the classroom full of laughs and giggles!
