Carolyn Marsh, M.Sc., BCBA
Graduate Program and Internship Coordinator
Behaviour Consultant
Hi! I'm Carolyn. At First Connections, I work as the BCBA for our afternoon classroom at Frost Road (formerly Berkshire Park). I also wear a few other hats — coordinating our Summer Program and Social Groups, and supervising students completing their practicum placements at First Connections as they work toward becoming BCaBAs and BCBAs.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Simon Fraser University, with a concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis and a minor in Learning and Developmental Disabilities. I earned my Master of Science in ABA from St. Cloud State University in 2019 and became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst that same year. Since 2014, I’ve had the privilege of supporting autistic children and youth ages 2–19 across home, school, and community settings. I’m also a Level 1 credential holder in Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT).
When I’m not at work, I’m usually chasing after my busy 3-year-old, gardening, cooking, or hosting family gatherings for our big extended family — usually with a toddler helper by my side!
What makes me happy is discovering each student’s unique “happy place” and meeting them there. I love being hands-on with our students — playing, singing, and learning right alongside them.
