Angie Ho, M.Ed., BCBA
Director of Operations
Director of Transition Program
Behaviour Consultant
Hi there, I’m Angie! I hold a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of British Columbia, specializing in Autism and Developmental Disabilities. I’ve been involved the Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) community in Metro Vancouver since 2007. In 2015, I gained my certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I have continued with my learning journey ever since.
As part of my continued learning, I’m certified at Level 5 in the Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment of severe problem behaviour. On top of that, I dived into the ACT Bootcamp® for Behaviour Analysts workshop in 2022 and continue to grow my skills by applying Acceptance Commitment Training in my work under active supervision. My passion for helping children thrive is at the heart of everything I do!
At First Connections, I head up operations and keep our team organized and communicating effectively. I also take the lead as the Director of Transition Support Program at First Connections, where our Transition Support team collaborates with local school districts to ensure smooth transitions for our young learners starting elementary school. In terms of my clinical work, I offer consultative support in our Frost Road (formerly Berkshire Park) and Royal Heights classrooms, engaging with students and collaborating with parents and our team of Behaviour Interventionists and Classroom Supervisors.
When I’m not in the classroom, I can be found at one of the local climbing gyms solving bouldering problems, or at home cooking delicious meals for my family.
Working at First Connections gives me the opportunity to combine my expertise with my passion. I cherish every moment of connection we’re able to create with our students. It makes me happy to included as part of their unique journey.
